360 Destination Group (360DG) and CSI DMC have merged to form one of the largest DMCs in the United States. Operating separately initially, they plan to unify under a single brand by the end of 2025. This merger combines revenues of $200 million, a workforce of 360 employees, and operations across 46 U.S. destinations. The collaboration aims to enhance creativity, efficiency, and logistical execution for clients. Trevor Hanks, 360DG managing partner, described it as a "game-changer for the DMC industry," emphasizing the enhanced value to clients throughout the event planning process.
Freeman, a global event company, has acquired Tag Digital, a full-service digital marketing agency specializing in innovative solutions for event organizers across EMEA, APAC, and North America. This acquisition aims to bolster Freeman's digital marketing capabilities, offering clients advanced strategies to engage attendees and drive event growth. Janet Dell, CEO of Freeman, highlighted that this move positions mdg, a Freeman company, as a leader in engaging today's attendees while setting events up for sustained growth.
Impact XM, an experiential marketing agency, has acquired Atlantic, a company specializing in exhibit and event solutions. This acquisition is set to expand Impact XM's reach and capabilities, enabling the delivery of more comprehensive services to clients.
These strategic moves reflect a dynamic shift in the event marketing industry, with companies seeking to enhance their offerings, expand their reach, and provide more value to their clients through mergers and acquisitions.
