Jimmy Garcia Catering Welcomes Alana Buckley as New Managing Director

Leading London-based events and venue caterer Jimmy Garcia Catering has announced the appointment of Alana Buckley as its new Managing Director, effective 6 October 2025. Buckley joins the company with a stellar track record, having risen through the ranks at street-food collective KERB from Head of Events to Commercial Director, and ultimately Managing Director where she was instrumental in forging strategic partnerships and driving growth.

Her experience also encompasses key roles such as Head of Events at Moving Venue, as well as board membership with Unique Venues of London, further cementing her deep understanding of venue operations and industry dynamics.

In tandem with Buckley’s appointment, long-standing Managing Director Richard Groves will transition to the role of Chairman, dedicating his extensive industry experience to business development and long-term strategy. Together with founder Jimmy Garcia and Bertie Woodhead, Managing Director of the business’s commercial arm, Jimmy’s Pop Up the leadership team is poised to steer the company through an exciting growth phase.

The move comes as Jimmy Garcia Catering continues to expand its prestigious venue roster, having added the V&A South Kensington, the Science Museum, and Two Temple Place this year, with more partnerships expected soon. The company also has B Corp certification aspirations, alongside its ongoing commitment to creativity, sustainability, and excellence.
