Music Venue Trust Expands Leadership Team to Support Future Growth

Music Venue Trust (MVT) has strengthened its senior leadership team as it moves into its next stage of growth. The UK charity says the expanded structure will help it continue supporting, protecting, and investing in the country’s grassroots music venues.
The changes follow a significant year for the organisation. During 2026, MVT launched its Investment Projects programme, delivered the nationwide Everywhere At Once festival, contributed to government recognition of grassroots music venues, and supported a further reduction in business rates for these venues.
The new senior team includes Toni Coe-Brooker, Sophie Asquith, Chris Hurne, Denzil Thomas, Rebecca Walker, and Adrian Norman, joining Founder and CEO Mark Davyd and COO Beverley Whitrick. The wider organisation now has 21 team members across four departments.
The expanded structure is designed to strengthen expertise across venue support, partnerships, campaigns, finance, fundraising, and live projects. According to MVT, the changes will also improve its ability to support venue members and continue national advocacy work.
