Outernet London has introduced a revolutionary Public Immersive Audience Measurement System (PIAMS) that delivers real-time insight into visitor behavior across its entertainment district. Developed in-house alongside Virgin Media O2 Business and Meshh, PIAMS measures footfall, dwell time, demographics, and visitor movement at five-minute intervals—all while remaining privacy-safe and GDPR compliant.
The system integrates anonymized mobile data provided by O2 Motion with spatial sensors from Meshh to paint a detailed picture of engagement within the Outernet venues. By linking audience metrics to on‑screen content, PIAMS offers brands and event organizers unprecedented visibility into campaign effectiveness and visitor interaction.
