UK Meetings Industry Celebrates Excellence with 2025 miaList Announcements

The Meetings Industry Association (MIA) has unveiled the prestigious 2025 miaList, honouring outstanding individuals and organisations across the UK business events sector. The awards ceremony held at The Belfry Hotel & Resort’s Masters Suite recognised remarkable achievements in leadership, innovation and event delivery. ⁠
Venues were celebrated too, with ICC Wales taking the gold for Venue of the Year (Over 300 Delegates) and Edgbaston Park Hotel & Conference Centre winning in the Under 300 Delegates category. The night also marked the first-ever Executive Leader of the Year award, presented to Paul Casement of Brighter for his strategic leadership. Winners span a diverse mix of agencies, suppliers and venues reflecting the industry’s resilience and evolving priorities. MIA CEO Shonali Devereaux commented on the event’s significance: “Each winner embodies the spirit of excellence and resilience that keeps our sector on track.”
